Series Preview

Today's Lineups

Ian Kinsler - 2B Michael Bourn - CF
Torii Hunter - RF Jose Ramirez - SS
Miguel Cabrera - DH Michael Brantley - LF
Victor Martinez - 1B Carlos Santana - 1B
J.D. Martinez - LF Yan Gomes - C
Nick Castellanos - 3B Jason Kipnis - 2B
Alex Avila - C Ryan Raburn - DH
Eugenio Suarez - SS Lonnie Chisenhall - 3B
Rajai Davis - CF Tyler Holt - RF
Kyle Lobstein - LHP Carlos Carrasco - RHP

Last night's game probably could have gone worse, given that Michael Brantley wasn't carried away by flying monkeys or anything. It could have gone better too, had horrible pitching, horrible hitting, and horrible fielding not all conspired against the Indians.

The lineup looks a little different tonight, with Tyler Holt in right field instead of Mike Aviles, and Ryan Raburn at DH instead of Jesus Aguilar. I like one of those moves a lot more than the other, but maybe Raburn's DL stint cured whatever has been ailing him for months and months.

Kyle Lobstein is just about the perfect name for a soft-tossing lefty who will probably hold the Tribe to 1 run in 7 innings or something.
