T.J. House makes his return to Cleveland as the Indians try to put together an encore performance to last night's drubbing. House has been serviceable this year but if he really wants to succeed he needs to start limiting baserunners more effectively than he has done up to this point.
The real story of the night is the unveiling of the Jim Thome statue. I know it hasn't been unanimous that he deserves one, but the Tribe' all time HR King will get one tonight. As someone who hits the ball left handed, I grew up emulating that point in countless pickup games an home run derbies. I'm thrilled for Big Jim and can't wait to see it in person.
Yan Gomes will get the night off with Roberto Perez catching. It makes sense with House on the mound to pair the two tonight. Here's hoping the Tribe can keep the the train rolling.
