I'm one of those who still loves the All-Star Game. I know part of the thrill used to be that it was just about the only time you saw some of the guys from the other league, something that hasn't been an issue for years now, with things like MLB.TV, but to me, seeing the best players from my favorite game together in once place is still a treat.

Felix vs. McCutchen, Puig, and Tulowitzki (and if he's not careful, Goldschmidt and Stanton too), that's pretty damn cool.

The story FOX will be playing up all night is that it's Derek Jeter's final All-Star Game, but I suspect the moment most of us will be waiting for is Michael Brantley's entry into the game. He's having a huge breakout season at the plate, and even the Tribe fans who were high on him 3 or 4 years ago probably didn't see this coming.
