We've entered another manic phase of this bipolar 2014 season, as the Tribe comes off a satisfying sweep of Colorado. At this point, I'll take every bit of good play as it comes. Here's a roundup of yesterday's recaps and a bit about what's going on around baseball:

Indians news & notes

Salazar still working out kins in AAA | - Danny Salazar has been working on his arm angle in AAA, as he was "lacking deception" in his delivery. So far, his results have been less than ideal, but Tito notes that he's not as bad as his results look. That's, um, encouraging I guess.

Chisenhall taking a leadership role | - Future Hall of Famer Lonnie Chisenhall is not only a monster at the dish, but he's also become a bona fide Clubhouse Presence™. After Cody Allen got out to a rocky start in Saturday's 9th inning, Lonnie walked to the mound and told him simply "relax." That was all Cody needed.

Indians need to resolve road woes | Did the Tribe Win Last Night? - The Indians have actually been really good at home in 2014 - tied for most home wins in the AL - which means they've been completely awful on the road. In fact, at 9-19, they have the worst road record in the AL.

Manny has more apologies to dole out | - Manny Ramirez made an apology tour last week, but left out one important person according to Paul Hoynes: Terry Francona.

Abreu coming off DL today | Twitter (Bruce Levine) - The White Sox are activating Jose Abreu today. Good thing we missed him in that series where we... uh... got swept by the White Sox.

Red Sox call up to prospect Cecchini | - Garin Cecchini was ranked the #6 prospect in the Red Sox org. I thought this was news when it popped up on my phone, but then I read he was Boston's #6 prospect so... who cares?

Rays place Myers on DL | CBS Sport - After an ugly collision with Desmond Jennings on Friday, the Rays have placed Wil Myers on the 15-day DL with a sprained wrist.
