Jason Giambi has been placed on the DL to create the roster space for Swisher's return.

I've got no problem with Swisher going right back into the lineup, because if he's ready, he's ready. It's a bummer to see Lonnie Chisenhall on the bench though. I bet that has more to do with him not having gotten a day off for a while, and Jon Lester being a tough southpaw, and I imagine we'll see Lonnie Back in the lineup for the rest of the series (we better!).

Tomlin gave up 3 runs in 8 innings his last time out. It'd be great if he could go 7+ innings tonight, and give the lineup a chance to win the game without scoring too many runs, since they'll likely be hard to come by.
