Series Preview

Today's Lineups

Brian Dozier - 2B Nyjer Morgan - CF
Sam Fuld - CF Nick Swisher - 1B
Trevor Plouffe - 3B Michael Brantley - LF
Chris Colabello - 1B Carlos Santana - 3B
Jason Kubel - RF David Murphy - RF
Kurt Suzuki - C Asdrubal Cabrera - SS
Josmil Pinto - DH Lonnie Chisenhall - DH
Eduardo Escobar - LF Yan Gomes - C
Pedro Florimon - SS Mike Aviles - 2B
Ricky Nolasco - RHP Danny Salazar - RHP

Danny Salazar will try to keep up the rotation's best streak of starts in six years when he takes the mound tonight. While seven innings with only one run allowed would be great, I'd settle for six complete innings from him, a total he's reached only once in six starts so far this season.

The Indians have scored more than four runs only once in their last ten games. Nolasco seems like a good guy to get things turned around against right now. In the first season of a 4-year, $49 million contract, he's got the lowest strikeout rate and highest home run rate of his career, and an ugly 5.82 ERA (also the worst of his career).
