As you can see, Gomes has returned from paternity leave (after the birth of a daughter. No one had to be sent down to make room for him, as Jason Giambi has been placed on the disabled list. I'm happy to see Lonnie in the lineup, because his results have been great so far this year, and I think he deserves more playing time. The Indians avoidJoe Mauer tonight, as he's out with back spasms. I wish him good help, but not until Friday.

Gibson has been shaky this year, so the Indians should be able to get to him. Of course, given the performance of the lineup so far this season, none of us should hold our breath waiting for big scoring, no matter who the opposing pitcher is.
