Aguilar makes his MLB debut, after being called up to take the roster spot of Nyjer Morgan, who hit the disabled list today with a sprained knee. It's interesting to me that he's been put in the #6 spot, rather than closer to the bottom of the order. If he has any success, don't be surprised to see him in the lineup against lefties for however long he's on the roster.
Michael Brantley is out tonight, after leaving early with stiffness in his back, but Terry Francona says Dr. Smooth will be back in the lineup tomorrow night. (whew)
Danny Salazar hasn't pitched for 8 days, since his solid game against Minnesota, in which he struck out seven while walking only one and not allowing any home runs in 6.1 innings. Hopefully the added rest allows him to make a second consecutive quality start for the first time in his MLB career.
