Tribe (and LGFT) News and Notes
The box score will not show it as such, but let it be known that Lonnie Chisenhall was robbed of extra bases last night by Mike Trout.
It should come as absolutely no surprise that no Indians made FanGraphs' list of players that improved on their projected WAR.
That Scott Kazmir guy we used to have improved to 4-0 on the season with a W over the Rangers.
Drew Stubbs hit his first homer of the season last night. Yeah, I don't care either.
Rest of MLB News and Notes
Robinson Cano made his thunderous return to New Jackass Stadium last night, but not before taking part in this somewhat amusing video. Cano went 1-for-5 in the game, in which the Mariners beat CC Sabathia and the Yankees 6-3. Sabathia gave up 9 hits and now has a 5.11 ERA.
Jose Fernandez dominated again. This time, he held the Braves to two hits over 8 innings. Surprisingly, Braves pitching allowed 9 runs in the game—one of which was batted in by Fernandez.
Just yesterday, Anthony Castrovince wrote about the Braves great pitching. And Mark Bowman took a look at Aaron [Redacted] Harang.
