Uniform #26: After wearing #7 last year, Matt Carson has been assigned this number in 2014 as a NRI. It was worn by Scott Kazmir last year. If Carson qualifies, he would be the 44th to wear it. Brook Jacoby is the career leader with 9 seasons.

Uniform #27: Bryan Shaw was the 36th to wear it last season. His second year in it will tie him with five others. Jaret Wright and Steve Gromek share the career lead with 6 seasons.

Uniform #28: This will be worn by Corey Kluber for the third straight year. The career leader for this number is Rick Manning with 7 seasons.

Uniform #29: Hitting coach Ty Van Burkleo returns for his second straight year with #29. It was worn as a player by Juan Diaz in 2012. Andre Thornton is the career leader with 10 seasons.

Uniform #30: Ubaldo Jimenez departs after three years in this number. He finished tied with six others in second place behind Joe Carter, who had 6 years in it. It is currently assigned to NRI Elliott Johnson. If Johnson makes it, he would be the 48th to wear it.

Uniform #31: David Huff did make his third seasonal appearance in #31 in 2013. But after he was let go, Danny Salazar took it over and became the 51st to wear it after wearing #67 last spring. Jim Perry is the career leader with 7 seasons.

Uniform #32: Matt Albers wore this in 2013, becoming the 48th to wear it. After his departure, pitching coach Mickey Callaway switched from #44 to take it over. The career leader for this number is Al J Smith with 6 seasons.

Uniform #33: Nick Swisher became the 51st player to wear it in 2013. He returns for season two and will tie eight others. Mudcat Grant is the career leader with 7 seasons.

Uniform #34: This will be worn by Zach McAllister, for his third go-round. He will join six others with three seasons. The career leader for this number is Steve Hargan with 8 seasons.

Uniform #35: This was assigned to NRI Jeremy Hermida last spring but ended up being worn by Marc Rzepczynski after his acquisition in August. He became the 46th player to wear it. It was worn by Casey Kotchman in 2012. The career leader for this number is Wayne Kirby with 5 seasons.

Uniform #36: When Preston Guilmet got his call up last season, he switched to this number after wearing #79 last spring as an NRI. He became the 49th guy to con it. The career leader for this number is Rick Waits with 9 seasons.

Uniform #37: Cody Allen returns for season three in this number. This ties him with Dennis Eckersley, Don Schulze, and Jim Piersall. The career leader for this number is recent retiree Jake Westbrook with 9 seasons.

Uniform #38: This ended up being Joe Smith's fifth and final season wearing it as he left as a free agent. He finished second all-time behind Eric Plunk who had seven seasons. NRI Shaun Marcum has it this spring and would be the 37th player to wear it if he makes it back to the majors.

Uniform #39: Brett Myers became the 26th player to wear it in his short stay with the Tribe. This spring, it is assigned to NRI Bryan LaHair. Gary Bell is the career leader with 10 seasons.

Uniform #40: After wearing #10 for four seasons from 2006 to 2009, Kelly Shoppach switched to #40 upon his late season signing last year. Shoppach became the 31st guy to wear it. It is not currently assigned to anyone this spring. The career leader for this number is Bartolo Colon with 6 seasons.

Uniform #41: Carlos Santana returns for a fifth season wearing #41. He is all alone in third place and would catch Victor Martinez in 2015. Charles Nagy leads this number with 13 seasons.

Uniform #42 was retired by major league baseball in honor of Jackie Robinson in 1997. It was last worn by Mike Jackson in 1999. Mariano Rivera of the Yankees was the last active player to wear #42 in 2013 (he was grandfather-claused in when MLB retired the number). Sonny Siebert is the Tribe's career leader with 6 seasons.

Uniform #43: This will be Josh Tomlin's fifth season wearing it. He will tie career leader Sid Monge and is the 21st to wear this number.

It is currently assigned to NRI Scott Atchison. If Atchison surprises everyone and makes it, he would be the 22nd player to wear it.

Uniform #50: When Nick Hagadone pitches in Cleveland this year, that would make this season four in #50. That would tie him with Jensen Lewis and Julian Tavarez in second place. The career leader for this number is Jason Davis with 5 seasons.
