Indians Game Thread (Saturday): Never mind, game canceled due to rain

Aaron Harang and Trevor Bauer among those who'll pitch, while Carlos Santana will play third base again.

Joe Camporeale-USA TODAY Sports

The Indians leave Goodyear for the first time this spring, traveling to Glendale to face the White Sox at 3:05 ET. The game will be broadcast on WTAM and that audio feed will also be available through MLB.TV, but it will not be televised.

Aaron Harang will start for the Tribe, and will be followed by Trevor Bauer. Each of them is scheduled to throw two innings. Each of them is also likely to begin the season at Triple-A Columbus, unless they really impress throughout spring training. Nick Hagadone, Colt Hynes, Bryan Shaw, Preston Guilmet, and Travis Banwart are each slated to throw one inning.

Today's lineup for the Indians:

1) Michael Bourn (CF)

2) Mike Aviles (SS)

3) Michael Brantley (LF)

4) Carlos Santana (3B)

5) Jeff Francoeur (RF)

6) David Murphy (DH)

7) Elliot Johnson (2B)

8) David Adams (1B)

9) Matt Treanor (C)

This will be Santana's second appearance at third base this spring. In his first game there, he played only two innings, and no balls were hit his way (he did take a relay throw and apply the tag at third base on a ball hit to deep center field). There's no telling if anything will be hit his way today, but I expect he'll play something like 4 innings. As usual this time of year, all of the starters will exit early, keeping them rested and giving more guys a chance to get some work in.
