2014 World Series Game 7
San Francisco Giants @ Kansas City Royals

In the 17 years since what many Tribe fans consider the worst game they ever experienced, there has been only one great World Series Game 7, and that one came in 2001, which (believe it or not) was 13 years ago. Based on how this series has gone, it doesn't seem likely that we're going to get an instant classic, but of course guessing what will happen tonight based on what happened in the previous six games isn't a wise course of action.
Baseball games don't get any bigger than this, and there won't be another baseball game even one tenth as meaningful for months, so I'm just going to settle in on the couch and take what I get.
