The World Series has been tied at a game apiece 54 times before this year. The team that won Game 3 went on to win the Series 38 times (compared to just 16 for the Game 3 losers), which is 70% of the time.

Tim Hudson will make his World Series debut in his 16th MLB season. He's been on a team that made the postseason six times before this year, but none of those teams ever made it to the Fall Classic (none of them ever made it to the LCS for that matter). He'll be opposed by former Indians 1st round pick Jeremy Guthrie. Remember that we're in an NL ballpark now too, so those guys will likely bat once or twice.
