The Royals finally lost a postseason game (for the first time in 29 years) Tuesday night, and now look to avoid falling into an 0-2 hole before the World Series heads west. On the mound for them will be Yordano Ventura, who struggled in his ALCS start, while throwing a fastball 3 MPH slower than what it was during the regular season. The Giants counter with Jake Peavy, who was a mess for Boston this season, but has been great since changing coasts. He'll become only the 8th pitcher ever to pitch in back-to-back World Series with different teams. The only others to do it in the last 20 years are Cliff Lee and Kevin Brown.
