The Royals look to sweep their way into the World Series, while the Orioles look to start a four-game winning streak. Baltimore faced lefties (such as today's KC starterJason Vargas)  fewer times than any other AL team this season, but hit well against them when given the chance.

Either team could have returned to its Game 1 starter on full rest, due to Monday's postponement. I understand Kansas City's decision to stick with their previous plans, because they're up 3-0. I wouldn't have been surprised if Baltimore had gone back to Chris Tillman, but given that he didn't do so well in Game 1, I'm not surprised that they're sticking with Miguel Gonzalez either. I would expect a very quick hook for him, if he struggles at all.
