- Boy, did Ubaldo show up when it counted. Had the Indians lost this game, that might have been it for their season, and a poor start from Ubaldo would have meant a loss. In the span of four months, we've gone from thinking about releasing Ubaldo to hoping that he re-signs after the season. Credit has to go to Jimenez for realizing that he needed to change the he pitches, as well as Mickey Callaway for implementing that change.
-
Yan Gomes was fantastic again tonight. He threw out yet another base stealer, and had the biggest hit of the game, a two-run double to give the Indians a 4-0 lead.
- All I'll say about Chris Perez is that the Indians won the game.
