• Today 13 players, including Alex Rodriguez, Nelson Cruz, and Alex Rodriguez, were suspended by MLB for violated the MLB-MLBPA Joint Drug Agreement. 12 out of the 13 suspended received 50 games, but Alex Rodriguez received a 211-game suspension. All of the players suspended for 50 games will begin to serve them immediately, while Alex Rodriguez is appealing his suspension.
