Tyler Naquin and Cody Anderson are now both in AA, and have a chance over the last couple weeks of the season to make their case for PTM inclusion next month.

Francisco Mejia is among the youngest players in the Arizona League, but he ranks among the better hitters in the league. A switch-hitting catching with good defensive skills, I wouldn't be surprised if he's already ranked in many top 10 organizational lists this winter.

With just a couple weeks to go (and in some cases, less than that), there's a very good chance that none of the seven Cleveland affiliates make the playoffs. That's quite a departure from the last couple years, but don't read a whole lot into it, as sometimes player development and winning are in conflict. The Akron Aeros roster, for instance, has as many prospects as any one club in minor-league baseball, and they won't come close to making the postseason.
