Six-Run First Launches Tribe’s 8-7 Win " It's Pronounced "Lajaway"
The Indians have now clinched a fourth straight series win, and are putting some distance between themselves and the Royals, who lost again yesterday.
As mentioned in last night's recap, the Indians are the ones with a short bullpen today, not the Twins. Vinnie Pestano is likely not available, meaning that if there's a save opportunity today, Joe Smith will be the one coming in. That moves Cody Allen make to the eighth inning, and Shaw to the seventh.
The key will be getting a quality outing from Carlos Carrasco. The Twins are a much better offensive team than the Royals, especially lately, so Carrasco will be getting a tougher test today.

Baerga, Hart celebrated on Indians HOF weekend | indians.com: News
I think one of the better moves the organization has made over the past several has been bringing back the Indians Hall of Fame. Last night two more members of the 1990s were inducted, including the architect of those teams. And there's still many more inductees to go from those teams: Albert Belle, Jim Thome, and Manny Ramirez haven't been added yet. I think that Belle is the next one now that he's reconciled with the team, and Thome after that. As for Manny, that may be delayed a bit....

Royals Sign Draft Pick Sean Manaea to Record Deal - Royals Review
The Royals played the new draft system very well, overdrafting Hunter Dozier with the #8 overall pick, and using the bonus savings to entice Sean Manaea to sign after drafting him in the supplemental round. Manaea, before he injured his hip, was considered one of the best players in the draft, right up there with Appel and Gray.
Poll: Will the Minnesota Twins Be Sellers at the MLB Trade Deadline? - Twinkie Town
The overwhelming response was that they should be sellers. I really like what they've done on the offensive side of the ball of late, with players like Arcia and Hicks debuting this season and Miguel Sano and Byron Buxton doing very well in the minors. Their pitching prospects have trailed their position player prospects, though so I'm going to guess that that's what they'll be looking for this July.

Today's Classic Clip
I'm going to go away from the movie clips in favor of classic baseball clips, especially now that MLB has a presence on YouTube. There's so much good stuff out there that I might do this daily.
Today's clip is from 1993. Even after the hip injury that would cut short his career, Bo Jackson could still do things like this:
