PTM Update

Ronny Rodriguez has been locked in recently, hitting .455/.478/.818 over the past week. Perhaps he's starting to figured out AA, which is the toughest adjustment a prospects usually has to make in his development. Juan Diaz continues to struggle, and with both Rodriguez and Lindor behind him in the organization, his time with the organization is rapidly running out. Luigi Rodriguez had another fine week, and now has a .799 with the Mudcats. He's mostly played left field, as Tyler Naquin is still in Carolina. Dorssys Paulino also had a very nice week, hitting four doubles in 20 Plate Appearances.

The big news this week was Trevor Bauer's awful outing, which made his ERA and other important statitsics skyrocket. On the other hand, Danny Salazar is continuing to impress, albeit in short outings. There's a possibility that he could help the Indians out of the bullpen if needed, but first it'll be important to see if Danny can remain in the rotation.

Too Accomplished Update

With Lonnie Chisenhall back in Columbus, I think it's worth adding a section for players who are in the minors or majors, meet the age/level requirements, but no longer have rookie status.

I'm going to wait until the middle of June to update the PTM, as that's when the Indians have traditionally made their high-profile promotions. And honestly, I don't think there's anyone that really deserves being added to the PTM. Anthony Santander will probably get there eventually, but I don't want to include him after just 93 Plate Appearances. Preston Guilmet has faded of late, and he wasn't that highly-regarded in the first place. It is telling that when the Indians could have added him to the roster yesterday, they chose instead Matt Langwell.

But there are still some players that bear watching. Shawn Morimando has only allowed 6.9 H/9 in Carolina this season, and he's young for the league. Santander, as mentioned above, is keeping his head above water in a full-season league at age 18. Chun-Hsiu Chen is now in Columbus. Michael Peoples is now in Carolina. LeVon Washington unfortunately is back on the DL, but was very worthy of a promotion before that.

Too Old to Matter but Possible Contributors

Although minor-leaguers older than 25 are excluded from PTM, that doesn't mean older players can't help the Indians. Here are some of those players:
