  • The Rockies picked up their 2014 option on Jorge de La Rosa.
  • The Tigers, aided by a fastball pitched to Jhonny Peralta, beat the A's 8-6 on Tuesday. Peralta started the game in left field.
  • The Red Sox eliminated the Rays last night. I had a hard time rooting for either of the previous teams who have eliminated the Indians in this series. Chris Perez Fernando Rodney attempted to pitch the ninth inning for Tampa, but only got one out while loading the bases. Boston picked up a key insurance run in the process.
