Playoff Thread: September 5, 2012 (Akron, Lake County)

There have been some successful teams in the organization this year: both Akron and Lake County have made the playoffs. Both teams are starting their opening round games today:

Akron (82-59) at Bowie (78-64), 7:05 PM (Best of 5)

Bowie (affiliated with Bailtimore) will be giving the ball to Dylan Bundy, who perhaps is the best pitching prospect in minors right now. Lonnie Chisenhall should be in the lineup, and Carlos Carrasco will pitch an inning for the Aeros.

The Captains made the playoffs thanks to a 40-30 second-half record. Tyler Naquin has been promoted to Lake County for the playoffs, so he'll probably be in the starting lineup.
