Brooks Baseball PitchFX - Corey Kluber

His last time out, Corey Kluber couldn't get out of the fourth inning. This time, he finished six innings, though he allowed the Twins take the lead in his last inning on a Trevor Plouffe home run. Kluber right now would be the last guy in the rotation or the first guy out of the rotation if the personnel remains the same between now and next April. Carlos Carrasco will be back, and if the Indians pick up the options of both Roberto Hernandez and Ubaldo Jimenez, he'd be sixth on the depth chart. But how likely is it for the Indians to not tinker with the rotation?

Casey Kotchman had one of his best offensive games of the year; he went 3-for-5 on the day, ending things in the 10th with (appropriately enough) a ground ball single up the middle. Kotchman's success as a hitter depends on if he hits grounders where the fielders ain't, and most of the time they are where he hits them. If Ezequiel Carrera hit like Kotchman, he might have some success, and vice versa.

Anyway, the Twins and Indians ended the series back in a tie for the fourth pick in the draft. With the two teams done playing each other, both teams will be reduced to scoreboard watching.
