Travis Hafner working to get back this season, not worried about 2013: Cleveland Indians Insider | cleveland.com

Pronk should be able to return to the lineup before the season ends:

"As long as [rehab] keeps going the way it has, I'll be back," he said. "It's tough to say exactly when, but I don't think I'm too far away. I think I'll feel 100 percent before the end of the season."

As the Indians will not be picking Hafner's option, these last few appearances this season (if they happen) will likely be Hafner's last at-bats in an Indians uniform. It would be nice to see Hafner finish his 10-season Cleveland career in the lineup rather than on the Disabled List.

On a related (but ultimately pointless) note, the Indians now cannot trade Hafner without his permission: he has earned "10-and-5" notes thanks to accruing 10 years of service time.

Asdrubal, Brantley could return this weekend | indians.com: News

That Cabrera could return to the lineup is very good news, especially now that the Indians could be down to one shortstop:

Shortstop Jason Donald sustained a contusion in his right wrist after being hit by a pitch from Detroit's Justin Verlander in the seventh inning of Friday's game, a 4-0 loss. Donald exited the game; results of X-rays are pending.
