Three Positives to take from Rays 7, Indians 6

So I missed the last game, but there have certainly been plenty of positives to come out of this final stretch of the first half. This is a Tribe team that can win most games it plays in, that's mostly healthy, and is within striking distance of a team that's had to go on a couple of giant streaks just to be 3 games up. Let us examine today's happenings:

1. While the rest of the lineup has picked things up, Jason Kipnis has lagged a little. But today he went 2 for 4 with a walk, a double and two runs.

2. Similarly, Casey Kotchman has been a walking out lately, or at least it feels that way, but went 3 for 5 with 3 RBIs. The lineup really feels like it's starting to come together.

3. Similarly, I feel increasingly satisfied with this pitching staff, including Zach McAllister, who was going great until the weird stuff that was not really his fault happened in the sixth, and Tony Sipp, who I am almost OK with being used in real situations again.

Have a great All-Star Break, and see you in the second half!
