The Indians went with Minnesota high school pitcher Mitch Brown in the second round. Brown had been projected to go as high as the first round, but he was available in the second round (#79 overall), and the Indians jumped on him.
The difficult part now begins for the Indians, as not only will they have to attempt to convince all those high school players to forgo college, they'll have to do it within the constraints of a bonus cap. That's why many clubs selected college seniors (who have next to no leverage) in their top 10 picks, but the Indians for the most part didn't go that route, only selecting college seniors in rounds 6, 9, and 10.
