Chris Perez usually leaves it all on the field. This time he literally left something:

"It's a hot day and when I came out to throw, I took a couple drinks of warm water and it didn't really sit well with my stomach," Perez said later. "After I struck out [Daniel] Descalso it almost came up and when the game was over I just let it out. Nothing serious, I'm fine."

The most amazing thing is that both the Tribe TV and radio announcers continued without missing a beat.

The Indians are 32-27 despite both their pre-season top starters having ERAs over 4.50.

Crave Contest - Win Chance to Play Like a Pro with Jason Kipnis!

For those of you with young baseball players, you can have a chance for Jason Kipnis to hold a clinic for your child's baseball team. From the press release:

Cleveland kids are clamoring to win Crave Milk’s Second to None Sweepstakes. The contest, which launched June 1, invites budding sluggers and shortstops to sign up to win an exclusive baseball clinic for their team to be hosted by Indians second baseman Jason Kipnis. The sweeps takes place on Crave’s Facebook page, where fans ‘like’ the new chocolate milk before submitting a short form to put their name in the figurative hat.

Kipnis was tapped as the regional spokesperson for Crave earlier this year and now represents the bold cold chocolate milk as the beverage of choice for active youth and adults. The drink is packaged in an aluminum Frost Flow milk bottle that gets cold fast and stays cold longer, equating to a seriously fresh taste. The temperature-controlled bottle requires no refrigeration, making the drink a premiere choice for families on the go, that shuttle young athletes from hockey games to baseball practice to tennis matches on a daily basis. Players can quench their thirst by visiting Circle K in the Cleveland/Akron area.
