- Really impressive list ranking free agents 1-thru-175. Hafner comes in at #61 and Sizemore is there at #77. Pretty depressing that Grady's career has come to being ranked lower than Andruw Jones at anything other than eating. - Very stealthily, the Indians claimed Blake Wood off waivers this weekend. I think this could turn out to be a good move. Kinda like the understated Hannahan signing prior to the 2011 season.
- Reports indicate that #2 on that list, Josh Hamilton wants 175 million in free agency. I don't think he's going to get it.
- Despite his scary incident on the mound in 2012, multiple teams are already showing interest in Brandon McCarthy. You've got to wonder if we're one of them. New market inefficiency! And another entertaining tweeter to add to our cache of them.
- The Marlins have signed former Indian Kevin Kouzmanoff to a minor league deal.
