Non-Indians news
- The White Sox signed Jake Peavy to a 2-year, 29 million dollar contract. That's an offer I would have loved to see us make.
- The Rays picked up their $10M option on James Shields.
- Ryan Ludwick opted out of his $5M mutual option. He becomes a FA.
- Rafael Soriano also opted out today.
- The Royals declined their option on Joakim Soria. He'd be a nice 7th or 8th inning option if we deal Pestano or Perez.
- The Angels would like to deal Dan Haren and Ervin Santana. I'd take Haren, but we have had enough guys like Santana here the past couple years.
- The Orioles declined their $11M option on Mark Reynolds.
Semi-Indians news: - The Blue Jays claimed Scott Maine off waivers from us. They must be very desperate.
