The Indians were put out of their misery from the beginning. Fausto Carmon made the mistake of walking Delmon Young with two outs to bring up Miguel Cabrera, and things deterioirated from there. He would give up six straight singles, and five runs. He came out for the second, but with similar results, and after allowing another run, he was mercifully pulled.
Unlike in Detroit, the Indians couldn't mount a comeback against Rick Porcello. The only run they'd get off him came on a Kosukue Fukudome home run that was way too late to make any difference.
So welcome to 2012, folks.
