Jhonny Peralta's name explained?

Forgive me if this has already been talked about ad nauseum and put to bed (I'm a Reds fan, so I don't follow the minutiae of the Indians too closely). However, someone on Red Reporter found this article, which contains some possible insight into the spelling of Peralta's name. This passage, about two thirds of the way down, is the key: "Everyone I met told me that if I made it to Sabana de la Mar, I had to go eat at Jhonson's (spelling of Jhonson is no mistake, since without the "h," it would be pronounced "Yonson"). " Therefore, the Indians have Jhonny Peralta while the Reds would have Yonny Cueto. Again, sorry if this is really old territory, but it's an interesting insight into an interesting name.
