Chicago at Cleveland, 7:05 PM (STO)

Starting Pitchers:

Chicago: Jon Garland (4.37 ERA, 81)
Cleveland: Cliff Lee (4.58 ERA, 65)

Garland will probably get some Cy Young votes because of his record (17-6), much like Cliff Lee got last winter. The problem is that he ranks 18th in the AL in Pitching Runs Created and 19th in VORP.

The Twins' magic number to clinch a playoff spot is 2, so there's a possibility all four berths in the postseason may be set by tonight. But the Tigers and Twins still will have a lot to play for; whoever takes the division gets homefield advantage and the Athletics, which leaves the Wild Card team the Yankees on the road. Yeah, I'd try to win the division, too.
