Westbrook has had a very solid season, which is quite an accomplishment considering the defense behind him. Jake's FIP is 3.89, 12th in the AL, very impressive for a pitcher who doesn't strike many hitters out. If priorities #1 and #2 for the off-season are locking up Sabathia and Hafner, #3 should be to extend Westbrook past 2007.
