Travis Hafner left last night's game after being hit by a pitch on his right hand. And although he might miss some games, the X-rays on his hand were negative:
The good news, however, was that X-rays on the hand were negative. Hafner is day to day.
"We'll assess his situation [Saturday] morning," head athletic trainer Lonnie Soloff said. "After several ice treatments, [the swelling] lessened a bit."
With the RBI that came with the bases-loaded HBP, Hafner became the franchise leader for RBIs by a DH in a season, passing Andre Thornton (1982).
