Records Made to be Pronked

Last night, Travis Hafner hit his 42nd home run of the season, which placed him a three-way tie for eigth place in franchise history for home runs in a season (Rocky Colavito, Hal Trosky).

Pronk also has a shot of making these top ten lists:

(1) RBI (116) - Needs 14 to tie Tris Speaker (1923) for 10th place (130)

(2) BB (98) - Needs 7 to tie Jack Graney (1919) for 10th place (105)

(3) IBB (16) - Needs 2 to tie Jim Thome (2002) and Andre Thornton for 1st place (18); currently ranks fourth

(4) OBP (.437) - Needs an increase of .015 to tie Joe Sewell (1923) for 10th (.452). This list has changed just once since 1925.

(5) SLG (.662) - Currently in 6th place, .001 behind Manny Ramirez (2000). Albert Belle holds the record of .714 in 1994.

(6) OPS (1.099) - Currently in 5th place, .006 behind Manny Ramirez (1999). Manny holds the record with 1.154 in 2000.

(7) Extra Base Hits (74) - Needs 8 to tie Earl Averill (1936) and Manny Ramirez (1998) for ninth place.

(8) Runs Created (123.6) - Needs 25 to tie Joe Jackson (1912) for tenth place.
