As mentioned in an earlier comment, Franklin Gutierrez has been recalled. Brian Tallet was optioned to make room for Franklin. I'll have a more in-depth look at Gutierrez after the game, but the short explanation is that he's up now mainly for pinch-running situations and some defense.
