Westbrook took a hard loss today during a noon game, losing it in the 9th 2-1. A 2 hitter and 2 outs away from a win and the Angels put together alittle rally to pull off the win and took the rubber game of the series.
``I guess that's why we play nine,'' said Angels outfielder Darin Erstad, who tied it with an RBI single in the ninth. ``It doesn't seem fair to him (Westbrook).''
``He was filthy,'' Erstad said of Westbrook. ``Both pitchers were great.''
Colon kept it close. Scot Shields came in and pitched a perfect 9th for the save.
NOTES
Coco goes on the DL after bending his thumb all the way back trying to stretch a double into a triple. Jody Gerut was moved up and doubled in the game to give the Tribe a 1-0 lead.
