Former Indians first baseman Vic Power died on Tuesday in Puerto Rico.
Power was acquired by the Indians in one of the more famous trades in team history. The Indians received Power along with SS Woodie Held from the Athletics, while they sent 1B Preston Ward, LHP Dick Tomanek, and some outfielder named Roger Maris to Kansas City.
I'm way too young to have seen Power play, but I'm sure there are those out there who have. What are your recollections of Power?
